Full Description

Hello everyone!

The mod is still in its Beta version. The way to open the RVB menu has changed slightly compared to the FS22 version: now it can only be accessed while sitting in a vehicle.

Vehicles can only be repaired at base vehicle workshop triggers. This was implemented because many players had difficulty using the mod in FS22.

The vehicle's generator recharges the battery only if the engine is running above idle RPM. The battery can also be charged at electric charging stations. Additionally, if the battery level drops to 10% or below, it can be recharged in the vehicle workshop.

This version is strictly for testing purposes, and errors may occur.

Recommended Dependencies (to avoid errors):
- Wind Turbines Charging Station mod (i.e., FS25_electricChargeStation) - by HoT online Team FS25_electricChargeStation
- JCB E-tech Powerpack (i.e., FS25_JCB_Powerpack) - by RossN Mods FS25_JCB_Powerpack

📌Important Notes:

A well-documented bug report helps me find and fix issues faster.
This is not a stable release, but meant for testing and feedback collection.

If you experience excessively fast component wear on a server, it is recommended to shut down the vehicles’ engines before time acceleration or sleeping. If the issue persists after this, please report it.

Thanks for helping improve the mod!🚜

🔀Mod Conflict

If you are using the Real Vehicle Breakdowns (RVB) mod, do not use the:
- FS25_DisableTurnOffMotor - it will prevent the engine temperature from rising

Changelog 0.9.6.4:
- When a vehicle was dirty, the “dirty time” did not reset after washing it.
As a result, when the vehicle became 100% dirty again, overheating occurred immediately. The bug has been fixed.
- github issues#157 – Vehicles automatically turned off after some time while motor is running in idle
- github issues#155 – When vehicle in service, PLayers cant join server
- github issues#152 – Add estimated duration for Inspection & Service
- github issues#139 Updated – Vehicles with Hood Animation — List Needed
- github issues#114 Updated – List of vehicles / mods excluded from Real Vehicle Breakdowns specialization
- Code optimization

Changelog 0.9.6.3:
- github issues#145 – Thanks to Squallqt for testing, feedback, and suggestions.
- RVBresetVehicle bug - fixed
- MP Bug - fixed
- Code optimization
- Improved debugger system: errors/warnings are always shown, info messages remain menu-toggleable. Function names are now included in log output for easier traceability.
- Moved battery-related functions into a dedicated BatteryManager module.

Changelog 0.9.6.2:
- Conflict with FS25_EnhancedVehicle mod, TEMP and RMP displays are disabled.
- MP Bug - fixed
- Code optimization (plus 2-5 FPS)
- RVB ExactFillRootNode warning - fixed

Changelog 0.9.6.1:
- github issues#141 - For some players, the game would not start after the update, this issue has now been fixed.

Changelog 0.9.6.0:
- Rethinking Automatic Engine Shutdown Disable Logic
- Rethinking RVB Specialization Exclusion Logic
- If workshop hours are disabled, the finish time is now calculated correctly.
- Own or mobile workshops are always open; inspections, service, or repairs can be started anytime,
but the work duration may slightly increase due to mechanic dispatch time being simulated.
- DescVersion increased
- Added new mod icon

Changelog 0.9.5.9:
- RVB menu optimization
- Keep your vehicle clean! 100% dirt + player-set daily service time = increased wear (engine, thermostat)
- In cold conditions, the usable battery charge decreases, making starting more difficult.
- If the vehicle is not used, the battery loses 3% of its charge per month.
- In the vehicle workshop menu, the status of each vehicle is displayed, indicating whether it is currently under inspection, service, or repair.
The expected duration of the process is also shown.
- If the vehicle has a hood animation, it automatically opens during inspection/service/repair.
- github issues#138 - Conflict with Dashboard Live

Changelog 0.9.5.8:
- MP Bug

Changelog 0.9.5.7:
- Reworked jump-start cable system for more reliable behavior.
The vehicle must be jump-started for 5–15 seconds to start. However, if you turn off the jump-started vehicle and its battery level is still below 10%, it will not start again.
This should now work correctly in multiplayer as well.
- Several functions have been relocated. Hopefully they won’t cause any issues, but extensive testing and feedback are needed.
- The vehicle HUD received a small update. The dashboard icons are now slightly visible even before the engine starts, and their brightness increases when the headlights are switched on.

- github issues#124 - Workshop menu bug
- github issues#121 - FR translation update - thanks by Squallqt
- github issues#120 - Fixed DashboardLive compatibility issues
- Fixed missing localization string: “Lépésköz” in RVBMenuPartsSettingsFrame.xml
- Engine wear below 50 °C is now based on engine load instead of speed: above 70 % load, wear increases until the engine reaches 50 °C
- Localization files optimized and completed.
- Update - The following vehicles are “excluded” from RVB mode: https://github.com/MathiasHun/FS25_Real_Vehicle_Breakdowns_Beta/issues/114
This is a quick release intended for testing, so you can try it before it is made available to the general public.

Changelog 0.9.5.6:
- The difficulty setting has been moved to Gameplay Settings.
- You can now configure whether the vehicle workshop is open.
- Engine Load in HUD
- Engine wear below 50 °C is now based on engine load instead of speed: above 65 % load, wear increases until the engine reaches 50 °C
- Choose the vehicle’s power carefully. If the engine is underpowered, higher engine load can lead to increased engine wear
- Keep your vehicle clean! 100% dirt + 1 hour of operation = increased wear (engine, thermostat)

- github issues#116 - Version v0.9.5.5 does not detect the battery
- github issues#112 - Wear values too high
- github issues#110 - RVB does not read the correct tires damage from Use Up Your Tyres mod
- github issues#105 - Divide by zero error.

3. DLC vehicles (highlandsFishingPack):

- Compatibility with the Use Up Your Tyres (FS25_useYourTyres) mod has been completed.
In the RVB menu, the tyre lifetime can now be adjusted, for example to 340 km.
